Kinomoto Sakura

She is the series’ 4th grade, perpetually genki
(happy) protagonist. A student who loves to inline skate to school, she is
the one who “accidentally” opens the Clow Book & lets loose all 52 Clow
Cards unto the world. Chosen as the one to retrieve all of them, she
eventually undertakes a test to determine if she is fit to be the master of
the Cards and to be Clow’s successor. |
Dadouji Tomoyo

Sakura’s best friend. Staying loyally
by her side, she documents every mission Sakura undertakes with her video
camera. She is the one also responsible for the all the cute costumes that
Sakura wears for each sortie. She is very smart, has a beautiful singing
voice and is very, very rich. You could see her with her group of female
bodyguards. Her mother, Daidouji Sonomi, is the best friend of Sakura’s
now-deceased mother. |
Li Syaoran

He comes from a family of mages based
in Hong Kong, who are related to the mother of Clow Reed. He came as an
exchange student to Sakura’s class and to also look for the Clow Cards. At
first, he competed with Sakura for the possession of the cards but
eventually ends up helping her. He also becomes infatuated with her. |
Keroberos

He is one of Clow’s creations. The Sun
guardian, also the Clow Book’s guardian, he helps Sakura in the retrieval of
the cards. He is seen in his small, cute “plushie” form (as a flying and
speaking winged “bear doll”) in the majority of the series. |
