The people who started this site, and all staff members,
in one way or another appreciates the art of Japanese animation popularly known
as anime. After seeing enough slow-loading, poorly layouted anime sites that
offer no content, and just kept on repeating on how one anime title 'rulez!' or
'rox!'. We decided we had to change this.
THE GOAL
It was time for a different anime site. The initial
goal was to create a site that would load fast, clean, simple, and intuitive in
design, and offers content on anime and other related topics.
Another goal was to create something that would appeal
to discerning anime fans; something simple and stylish, thus proving that anime
is not only for kids but is indeed an art.
THE RESULT
Yatta! everything anime
went live on May 10, 2002.
WHAT IS YATTA?
Our site is named after a Japanese expression meaning
'I did it!'. It is an expression used when there is something achieved, done, or
proclaimed during a victory. The initial concept was to create a Japanese Yahoo!
of sorts.
Yatta! everything anime is
an anime site offering resources on popular anime and an electronic magazine
offering news, feature stories, and monthly picks for site, fanfic, and anime
character.

One Year Online
Our first year online saw our departure from the tripod
servers onto tfme.net. Our hostess was Mir who offered server space for free. Our
first year online featured the debut of Yatta version 2.
i [heart] anime : Two Years Online
Celebrating Yatta's second year online, we moved to the
Okashira Network. Our hosts this time are three staff members of the site: Wowie,
Akasha, and Dark-Soldier-Saturn. The debut of version 3 saw the split of the
site into 2 major sections, the anime resource and the ezine. The slogan of the
second anniversary celebrations is our own spin on the famous line, i [heart]
anime.

Do you want to link up? You can use the banners below

A few people that we would like to give
thanks.
To G-O-D - thanks for everything,
without you the site would not be possible. Thanks for shining your light, and
for the inspiration.
To our Parents - Thanks for the
support and for sending us to school.
To our Siblings - Thanks for
letting us use the PC and telling all your friends about our little website.
To all our family, friends, and regular
visitors of the site - Thanks for all your support by visiting the site, and
for spreading the word about Yatta. Thanks!
To Adobe Photoshop 7 - Our site
wouldn't look this good without this superior piece of software.
To our hosts (past & present) - Mir
and Wowie, thanks for giving precious server space to this little site. Just
hope that we could get our own servers soon. *cross fingers*
To internet cards - Thanks for
providing a cheap way to connect to the Net.
To all those who we forgot, we're very
sorry but here's a BIG thanks to you all!
Webmaster's Note: You cannot find the music video 'Yatta'
here on our site. I just wanted to clear that up because for the past 2 years
we've received several queries about the music video with 'guys dancing
only wearing fig leaves'. Sorry to burst your bubble but we don't have it here.
